Reminders

  • Half day on Wednesday (dismissal is at 12:35)
  • No school on Thursday

Math

  • Use estimation and mental math to see if answers are reasonable
  • Use the standard algorithm to add multi-digit whole numbers

Reading & Writing

We are starting our first writing assignment.  Students will be researching the Colonial or Native American time period, concentrating on the setting.  This background research will help us to write our historical fiction stories.

Words Their Way

  • Students were given new spelling words on Monday.  The next spelling test is on Friday, October 3rd.

Common Core Math Videos
